Yin Yoga at New Dawn

Fridays 9:15am - 10:30am

A room temperature passive practice for the connective tissues and joints incorporating restful, stretch based floor poses held for 2-4 minutes.  Very breath observation and meditation oriented.

Hot Yoga at New Dawn

Mondays 12:00pm - 1:00pm all levels

Tuesdays 10:00am - 11:00am all levels

Wednesdays 5:45pm - 7:00pm level 2 vinyasa

Thursdays 10:00am - 11:00am all levels
                  

Yoga, in a hot room.  We will move, we will sweat, but more importantly we will breathe.  My hot classes are not designed with intensity and exercise as a priority.  I aim to have each and every person in the class feeling great about themselves at the end, and not exhausted or drained.  Mindful inspiration at the beginning, 10min+ relaxation at the end.

Flow, pause, observe.  An active practice incorporating a range of traditional yoga poses mixed with movements designed to increase range of motion, flexibility, and strength.  Mindful intention setting at the beginning, and a 15min+ relaxation at the end.

Chair yoga at Senior Circle

Thursdays

12:30pm-1:15pm


 

A practice designed for every age with gentle chair based movements linked with breath and awareness.  Some classes incorporate standing poses with the assistance of a chair if everyone is comfortable, but most movements are done completely seated.

Private Sessions

Specialized one on one, semi-private, corporate yoga, and yoga for athletes.

Private sessions are great for learning the basics and learning how to work with your specific needs.  Semi-private sessions and corporate yoga are a great way to build a sense of community, boost workplace productivity and morale, or to celebrate a special occasion.

I've found a love of working with athletic teams and individuals creating a practice that is activity specific.  These practices are focused on strength and mobility to help counteract repetitive movements which can lead to injury or pain.
